Unlike most mattresses, La Luna beds do not contain any petrochemical foams and toxic chemicals that pollute indoor air or metal springs that disrupt the sleep cycle.
To achieve the most comfortable natural sleep, we use certified organic cotton for its calming softness and breathability, Dunlop latex foam for its unrivalled support and longevity, and melton wool for its flame retardancy and structural strength.

Sleeping on a La Luna feels very much like floating on stillwater - your tension and stress dissolves, your nerves relax, your mind slows, and you doze into a deeply calming, restful sleep.
Choose your La Luna 
La Luna beds are available in 3", 6", 9", and 12" thickness and three levels of firmness: soft (excl. 3"), medium, and firm. Your age and body mass index (BMI) are the two most important factors to consider when choosing the right mattress. Please click the charts on the left to see which La Luna models are recommended for you. Only Queen and King sizes have two halves, as shown in the photos.
When in doubt, we recommend starting with a 3" or 6" model and gradually add more modules to increase thickness and support. Registered La Luna customers are eligible to purchase additional modules of the same size at a 10% discount within six months of the initial purchase.
The fabric casing is made from melton wool and is light grey by default. If we run out of the standard light grey colour, we may use the caramel colour instead.
Use and Care 
Your La Luna bed should be placed on a flat, level, and well-supported base, such as the slats of a platform bed frame, a box spring, or another mattress. If placed on slats, the gaps between slats should not exceed 1.5". Please flip and rotate the "La Luna" at least once a year to even out the natural compression.
Please cover your La Luna mattress with a fitted sheet to keep it clean. If the La Luna bed is stained, you can spot clean it with a damp cloth and let it air dry thoroughly. Please do not remove the cover to wash it in water because it may shrink and deform.
Please ensure your sleeping space is dry and well ventilated. Even though wool and latex have antimicrobial properties, if placed in damp areas for an extended period, they can become mouldy.
Shipping and Handling 
Orders are generally shipped 2-3 weeks. Each La Luna module is individually packaged and easy for one person to handle and move. Shipping is free to all Canadian metro areas. Remote areas may be subject to delivery charges. Vancouver customers can either pick up their mattress from our warehouse or have it delivered for free on Saturdays.
Lifetime Warranty 
We provide the original owner/purchaser of a La Luna Mattress with a lifetime warranty against material and workpersonship defects. We will either repair the defect or replace the defective module at our discretion with a comparable item. To start a warranty claim, the original owner/purchaser must contact us by email with the original proof of purchase.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, and damages caused by the users, children, and animals. Eligible defects include 1) visible compression or sag of the mattress greater than one inch from structural failure, and 2) during the first ten years, fabric tearing, stitch unravelling, and zipper breakage of the fabric cover due to material flaw and production error.
After ten years from the date of purchase, while keeping the original mattress, the owner/purchaser is eligible to purchase a replacement mattress of the same type and size at 25% discount.
Chemical Sensitivities 
Although our products are made of hypoallergenic natural materials, we do not guarantee that they are scent-free or warrant against allergies and chemical sensitivities. The materials we use have faint natural scents that do not bother most people and will dissipate with time. They were produced with little or no input of chemicals. If you are concerned about allergies, please consult your physician and purchase a material sample kit to test the materials beforehand.
Shipping to the United States 
Our mattresses can only be sold in Canada. The US has stricter flammability standards that require the use of potentially toxic petrochemicals. Exceptions can be made with a doctor's prescription for non-CFR 1633 compliant mattress. For more information, visit www.peopleforcleanbeds.org.
