Washable Wool Mattress Pad
Every day our bodies give off moisture vapor at a rate of 2 ounces per hour. If the materials surrounding us in bed cannot absorb and release this moisture, thermal stress and poor quality sleep will occur. Wool is the only material that can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, and then release this moisture into the atmosphere, resulting in greatly improved sleep quality. The wool mattress pad prevents moisture build-up in the mattress, prolonging the life of the mattress as well as greatly increasing sleeping comfort.
Our washable wool matters pads are filled with New Zealand washable wool, and cased in 100% cotton fabric. It is made to fit on top of your mattress, and is held secure in place by elastic bands on the corners. Well made in Canada.
Care instruction:
Use cold water and gentle soap, wash by hand or delicate cycle in front loading machine. Tumble dry on low for a maximum of 10 minutes and hang to dry.
